Emergency dental care in Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas

If you need an emergency dentist, don’t panic. Here at Kidsgrove Dental and Implant Centre, our staff can be called upon to act as emergency dentists for the Stoke-on-Trent, Ashton-Under-Lyme, Staffordshire and Cheshire areas. You do not need to be registered as a patient to receive emergency dental care here at the clinic.

Do you need an emergency dentist?

We would recommend that you seek emergency dental care if you are experiencing/have experienced any of the following:

  • Toothache or swelling that is suggesting of an infection in your mouth
  • Any form of toothache of facial pain that is so severe that over the counter painkillers are failing to control it
  • Trauma of the face, mouth or teeth as a result of an accident or other injury
  • A tooth having been knocked out
  • Excessive or uncontrollable bleeding following a tooth extraction
  • Serious and worsening swelling of the mouth or face

Things like a chipped filling or a broken crown may cause some people to seek an emergency dentist, while other people may be happy to make a normal appointment. As far as we’re concerned, if one of these things has happened to you and you want to seek an emergency dentist appointment then we’re here for you.

We will always prioritise our registered patients and do our best to see you on the day of your enquiry if you are already registered with the clinic but whether you’ve been through our door before or not, if you need emergency dental care don’t hesitate to reach out.

Emergency wisdom teeth removal

There are times when we will perform wisdom teeth removal as a matter of emergency. If you have pain or swelling in this area and feel as though this is something you might need, by all means make an emergency dentist appointment with us.

We can’t tell you over the phone or in advance whether this is what you need. It’s always worth coming in and being checked out – as a matter of urgency if need be. By taking a look we can then advise you on the best course of action.

Whatever is going on for you, please try to keep calm and make an emergency dentist appointment with us. We’ll see you and treat you as quickly as we possibly can.
